The Sererball and Fulaballs of 
Senegambia united to form the Muslim 
Tekrurball. It was known for gibings gold and salt to Islamic merchants.

Animist religion. Some while ago it got annexed by 
Mali Empireball who collapsed and gave independence to some countries like its ancestor 
Jolof Empireball and Waaloball. Waaloball used to pay tributes to Jolof Empireball before its annexation to the empire.
A serer guy from Waaloball's clay, Ndiadiane Ndiaye, was offered kingship and a beautiful wife after he was kidnapped by Wolof soldiers, he did something that helped the population and that's why he got the throne. (Note that the name "Ndiadiane Ndiaye" is what the people of Jolof Empireball heard and decided to call him that, his real name was Amadu Bubakar Ibn Muhammed).It was divided into constitutional states; Wolof speaking Waaloball, Cayorball and Baolball at north and Serer speaking Kingdom of Sineball and Saloumball north of Gambiaball's river. A state ruler was regularly selected by the nobles through voting, and then once in a while, they necessarily pay tributes to the emperor. Wolof nobles were on top of the empire's class, citizens and workers in the middle, and slaves were at the button.
Thought the 13th century, Jolof Empireball had established trade with

In the mid-1400s to the 1500s, 
Portugalball came in the Senegalese coasts between 1444 and 1510 and they became friends. Portugalball traded firearms and gold with Jolofball in exchange for later slaves), and the two would become friends. Portugalball built

Ziguinchorball was also created later. Portugalball described how our political system was advanced. Many of the 
slaves sold to the Portuguese were Animists that were kidnapped and their homes raided. Sineball's biased stories claimed it never had to pay tribute to In 1512 Futa Toroball (Fulani state in eastern Senegalball) tried to take the land that was seized from Jolof Empireball. Maliball by 
Songhaiball, but had its leader Tenguella killed in action. Cayorball's geographical location made it benefit from the coastal trade more than the rest of the coastal states, which would indicate separatism. 1549 was Cayorball breaking apart from Jolof Empireball making it not only landlocked but also cease to exist as an empire. Dutch West India Companyball settled on the island clay of Gorée in 1617 and brought its colony to life. The colony was named Senegambiaball, and it was assigned to build a slave factory and find and sell 8balls to the Companyball to make its father proud.
The main customers of 16th century the time were 
Franceball, Portugalball, 
Englandball, and 
Netherlands. Waaloball offered Europeans slaves and gum rice for firearms and clothing, while Sineball offered fish, millets, and groundnut. On 1625, Franceball built up Saint-Louisball with Waaloball's permission, creating the colony of

Franceball wasn't really into anschlussing nearby kingdoms because the Cap-Vert et du Sénégal Company hadn't skyrocketed. In the 1850s, she also started teaching

Senegalball was important to the rest of 
French West Africaball, as its geographical location in Africa brought Senegalese workers a link to expand to other future colonies. In the 1880s, Sineball and Saloumball were conquered too and made vassals. (Reminder Saloumball beaten Franceball in a war). Ziguinchorball was handed over from 
Kingdom of Portugalball because of the continental partition.
The region as French Senegalball, along with 
French Sudanball and 
French Nigerball was connected together as ¨Upper Senegal and Nigerball¨, but Franceball divided part of the territory into French Senegalball. During the colonization, Franceball made Senegalball pick cotton and harvest rice to them. While Sernegaleseballs lived in poor conditions, Franceball lived its life off this exploitation with trade in the capital Dakarball. Eventually, Senegaleseballs got tired and started "La Resistance" a separatist movement that got defeated by Franceball.
When Franceball fell to the 
Naziballs, 
Free Franceball asked it's West African colonies to join the resistance, but they all said "NON!" and stayed with 
Vichy Franceball. Free Franceball quickly tried to siege Dakarball from Vichy Franceball, but failed to do so. By 1944, Vichy Franceball lost control over French West Africaball to Free Franceball. The Senegalese were to help liberate Franceball. With support, they did so, but the poor conditions they lived through made the colonial army mutiny. due to the lack of payment and poorness protests against Free Franceball with was suppressed with a horrible and unforgettable massacre. To this day Senegalball is still sick about it and claims that a hundred lost their lives after protesting for better rights. But Franceball denied it happened.
Léopold Sédar Senghor, a former Resistance fighter was elected as governor of French Senegalball and 
French Mauritaniaball which was associated in the French Unionball. His support for the working class as well as his African bloodline would make him an 
Afro-socialist. Leopold also pushed the country to its own path as colonial elections would happen in 1956 and 1957. Senegalball was given autonomy by Franceball on November 25 1958 after voting to join French Communityball (future 
Francaphonieball) in a referendum. With French Sudanball's approval from Senegalball, they merged and evolved to the 
Mali Federationball, but it later split due to internal power struggles, but they are still best bros to this day. Senegal became fully independent on the 20th of June, 1960.
For 20 years, Senegalball was ruled by Léopold, who implemented ideas of African Socialism. The Senegalese Democratic Bloc (later the Socialist Party of Senegal) kept the countryball going, but they also eroded a number of the democratic principles of Senegalball that were able to prevent complete economic collapse through one-party rule but they still had a fledgling non-expanding economy for decades. This could theorize why Senegalball is a poor country today. Léopold Sédar Senghor didn't mess around, because he arrested prime minister Mamadou Dia of planning a coup d'etat in 1962, and half a decade later executed Moustapha Lô of attempting to kill him.
Senegalball faced conflict from old friend 
Portugalball who was trespassing it's clay to crush an uprising in 
Portuguese Guineaball. Many of the talks with the 
UNball resulted in the discouragement of Portuguese troops using Senegal as a free trespass zone. In the 1970s Senegalball started to allow opposition parties.
Senegalball helped prevent the 1981 coup against Gambiaball. Senegalball tried an economic confederation with The Gambiaball to establish the Senegambia Confederationball on 1 February 1982. The economy started to improve, which the politicians saw as a good idea. Unfortunately Gambiaball's people weren't willing to actually have a country with Senegalball. The Gambia took its independence, stealing all the rivers from Senegalball and not sharing even one bit of water. Its break-up worsened the economic situation in 
Casamanceball, considerably contributing to the independence movement. Despite formal peace talks, the Christians and Animist Jolaballs south of the Gambia river still clash against the Senegalese Muslim Wolofballs in the North.
Surprisingly, the second Senegalese president Abdou Diouf volunteered to step down as president after 19 years of rule with 3 re-elections. For the first time, democratic elections were held starting in 2000. Senegalball decided it would become the first mainland West Africanball to become a democracy though peace all of Senegalball's neighbors can't into relate. The Socialist Party of Senegal (PSS) boycotted in 2007 because of voter irregularities. You can make your own guesses as to wherever the Senegal government began to tamper with elections after that or if the opposition did so to undermine the election.
In 2017, Senegalball was the main character of 
ECOWASball that invaded The Gambiaball due to the undemocratic government. Senegalball really likes taking up Gambiaball's personal space. Since the pandemic struck, tourism was been on pause, disappointing Senegal, but is slowly bouncing back. Senegalball can also into AFCON champion.
