Kareliaball, also known as Republic of Kareliaball, Is a republicball that is apart of Russiaball, Kareliaball wanted to be independent for many years, but Kareliaball was independent for 1 year in 1919-1920 until Soviet Unionball invades Kareliaball and the USSRball makes the File:Karelian ASSR-icon.png Karelian ASSRball. A small part of Kareliaball is owned by Finlandball.

Not to be confused with Korea Stateball.

    History

Kareliaball was born as a 1ball. Like its sibling Finlandball, it was fought over between Swedish Empireball and Novgorod Republicball, later the Grand Duchy of Moscowball for the 12 and 13th centuries. These two lived with each other right inside Swedish Empireball's large clay, but Novgorod Republicball and it's successors had a huge chink of Karelian clay known as "East Kareliaball". The Northern wars determined the fate of Kareliaball. After Swedenball and Russiaball stopped fighting, the two signed the Treaty of Nystad in 1721, with Kareliaball desired to favor of Russiaball.

Russian Empireball, the successor of the Grand Duchy eventually broke apart. And then there was the Republic of Uhtuaball. For most of the Russian Civil War, Finlandball, Franceball and UKball all tried to save Republic of Uhtuaball from being annexed by Russian SFSRball, but it was too late...

Karelian ASSRball was sad to not join it's mate, but at least it lived peacefully until 1940 when Soviet Unionball forced Finlandball to give up the last remains of Karelian clay, known as File:DR Finland-icon.png DR Finlandball. During the Continuation War, Most or all of Kareliaball was captured by Finlandball, but Finnish troops were expelled from Karelia by Sovietball during the Karelian Offensive in late 1944. By the war's end of the Winter War, Kareliaball's lost territories were handed right back over to Sovietball and were known as the Karelo-Finnish SSRball until 1956. It continues to remain part of modern day Russiaball much to the dismay of Finlandball.
