Cumansball was a 
Turkic 
nomad countryball defeated by the 
Mongol Empireball in the early 13th century. It is the ancestor of 
Kazakhbrick and 
Kyrgyzstanball, as well as 
Bashkortostanball, 
Tatarstanball, 
Crimeaball, & 
Karachay-Cherkessiaball.
History
It is unknown exactly where Cumansball was born, but it was of a Turkic nomad. During the early 11th century, it joined forces with other Kipchakballs, and began conquering clay from 
Pechenegsball and soon defeated them. They also conquered 
Romaniaball. At the height of its power in the early 13th century it owned much of the clay that now belongs to 
Russiaball. It was then swiftly defeated by Mongol Empireball, reducing it to a minor figure in history. Some Cumans fled into -icon.png){kind=icon}
Kingdom of Hungaryball, adopting 
Roman Catholicism and eventually getting absorbed by the Hungarian population. The last speakers of the Cuman language (which was a Turkic language of the Kipchak branch) died somewhere in the 17th or 18th century AD.
Unlike many other Turks, Cumans had European-ish appearance, which was likely because of intermixing with 
East Slavs or even earlier 
Indo-European groups like the 
Scythians. The Cumans were called "Polovtsy" by the Russians. Polovtsy means "pale people" in Russian.
