Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasusball was a short-lived country in the Northern Caucasus. It was conquered by Soviet Unionball in 1920.

History
The Mountainous Republic of the Northern Caucasusball was based on the former province, the Terek Oblastball, where the Terek Cossaksballs lived. The province later was taken over for the indigenous populations and Dagestan Oblastball was anschlussed.
Upon independence, it became a client state to 
Ottoman Empireball. Many of the Caucasian troops fighting for Russia fought for the new republic. Because of this, the Mountainous Republicball could fight against 
Anton Denikin who tried to reconquer it.
Despite fighting against the White Movementball, it was crushed by the 
Bolsheviks and was given new clothing, later renamed as the 
Mountain ASSRball.
