    Confederate Virginiaball

Confederate Virginiaball was a state of The Confederate States of America located in the Mid Atlantic. It played a huge role in the Civil War, and, like the Revolutionary War, was a state with a ton of battles, including the Surrender at Appomattox Court House, where the Confederacy surrendered in 1865. Confederate Virginiaball was also the state that held the confederate capital of Richmondball. It's clay bordered Confederate North Carolinaball, Marylandball, DCball, Confederate Tennesseeball, Kentuckyball, and West Virginiaball (After it succeeded from Virginia, before it would've also borderd OhioRawr and Pennsylvaniaball

    Personality

Confederate Virginiaball is known to be very fiesty, and also to act like a deep southern state regardless of the fact that it is infact, quite north, and their clay holds the farthest north part of the Confederacy. Like modern Virginiaball, Confederate Virginiaball is going through a (slightly less bad) Identity Crisis. Even though they hold CSAball's capital, and love the south, there are somtimes when Confederate Virginiaball just feels like maybe they might be part of the Union. This identity crisis got less worse when West Virginiaball split away from Confederate Virginiaball

    Relationships

    Positive

    - Confederate North Carolinaball - Muh good friend down south. He loves him some good o'l kuntry music from our sister Tennesseeball (But muh kuntry music is better). We both are part of the Confederacy.

    - Confederate South Carolinaball - 'Nort Kakalaki's siblin from down down south. Great role model, firin' on those Stinky Yankees at Charleston, and bein' the first state to succeed. Golly, am I proud to be a sudern' state.

    - CSAball - Muh true role model, and pawpa. I say I'm his favorite sun, nawt that stinky Texas out west, because he let me hold his capital!

    Neutral/Complicated

    - Marylandball - Stayed with those Stinky Yankees, but at least he still has Slavery. Lincoln kept him in because he didn't want His Capital to be surrounded by Confederates. He's got some real good fish tho and we both share the Chesapeake Bay.

    - Delawareball - Delaware is a boring state up north with nothin but yankees from New York Cityball who want warmer weather. Again tho, at least he still has Slavery.

    Negative

    - DCball - I HATE SEIN' THIS CREATURE ON THE UDER SIDE O' DAT RIVEA! SOURRENDER ALREADY!

    - West Virginiaball TRAITOR!! PURE AND UGLY TRAITOR!! I HATE YOU WITH ALL MY DEEP SUDERN HART AND I HOPE YOU DIE A SLOW ND PAINFUL DEATH!!!

    History

Confederate Virginiaball succeded from the Union in 1861, and played a huge role in the Civil War, as it held the Confederate Capital, and was across the Potomac from The Union Capital.

    Pre-Civil War

Slavery had arrived in Virginia, Jamestownball in 1619, and had been a problem plaguing the state for years, especially when the area known as Washington D.C. was carved out of Virginiaball and Marylandball in 1846, and was decided to be free. As USAball expanded westward, and gained new territories, each new state that was added threaded to break the balance between Slave States and Free States, which could allow one party to either declare it unconstitutional or constitutional. One of these places that was being decided was an area west of Iowaball's clay, known as Nebraska Territoryball and Kansas Territoryball. Illinoisball wanted to build a train through these territories to get to the Pacific Shore. However, for this to happen, they needed to hold a vote to see if these places would become Free or a Slave State. Pro-Slavery and Anti-Slavery Settlers rushed to these places to take part in the vote, and make these territories slave or free. And while they were there, they beat the crap out of each other, in a period known as Bleeding Kansas. One man, named John Brown, a heavy abolitionist beat the crap out of Pro-Slavery settlers. Anyway, back to Virginiaball After Bleeding Kansas war over, John Brown decided to raid Harpers Ferry, Virginia (Present day West Virginiaball. He actually succeeded quite a lot until Robert E. Lee and his gang captured him and sentenced him to death. Eventually, Abraham Lincoln was elected President, and southern democrats were enraged. They feared that he was going to 'take away their Slaves'. After South Carolinaball succeeded from the union, other states followed, including Virginiaball in April.

    Early Civil War

The battle of Bull Run plunged Confederate Virginiaball into the Civil War, and CSAball decided to move it's capital over to Virginia, which was a good choice and a bad choice, but mainly the reasoning was to be closer to USAball's clay and troops. The Confederates smashed The Union in the Battle of Bull Run, proving that this war was going to be a tough one, and also proving to European powers that CSAball was a force to be reckoned with.

    McClellan's Peninsula War

Honest Abe knew that the battle of Bull Run hadn't gone so well, so he decided to hire a scrawny looking Pennsylvaniaball known as George B. McClellan And like all Pennsylvaniaballs, he was a total wimp. Abe wanted McClellan to attack from DCball and move south to take Richmond but McClellan wanted to go through the Virginia Peninsula and then attack Richmond.
