Da Chuball was a short-lived polity in China during the Southern Song dynasty. Da Chuball was created as a puppet state by the Jurchen-led Jinball to help administer Jinball's newly-conquered territory in Northern China.
However, one month after ascending the throne, Da Chu's appointed emperor, Zhang Bangchang, abdicated to Southern Songball's emperor, which reignited tensions between Jinball and Songball.
History
After Songball lost control of Bianjingball during the "Jingkang Incident", Jurchen Jinball attempted to set up a puppet government in Bianjing by proclaimed Da Chuball, enthroning one of Songball's officials–Zhang Bangchang–as Da Chuball's emperor.
However, Zhang was apprehensive of his role as emperor of Da Chuball, and within a month, abdicated to Southern Songball's emperor, effectively ending Da Chuball.
As a consequence for the destruction of Da Chuball, Jinball resumed its campaigns against Songball.
