Kannaujball, historically called Kanyakubjaball, is a city in Uttar Pradeshball. It was historically very important and s̶a̶c̶k̶e̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶g̶r̶e̶e̶d̶y̶ ̶i̶n̶v̶a̶d̶e̶r̶s̶ prosperous.
History
It grew in importance when it became the capital of stronk Maukhariball & later even more when it became the capital of a powerful boi named Harshavardhana. It came under the rule of two pretty meh dynasties after that, during which it was hotly contested by three great powers- Gurjara-Pratiharaball, Rashtrakuta dynastyball & Pala Empireball. This was known as the Tripartite struggle. It finally became the capital of Gurjara-Pratiharaball, the dominant power in north India, but was sacked by Rashtrakuta dynastyball, which weakened it and Ghaznavidsball destroyed it so thoroughly that Gurjara-Pratiharaball shifted their capital.
Later, it came under the control of Gahadavalaball for a short time. But they were defeated by 
Ghurid Dynastyball.
It was under the control of 
Delhi Sultanateball for a long time, until it was anschlussed by 
Mughalball. For a short time it was under the control of 
OudhRawr but then anschlussed from them by 
East India Companyball. It later became part of 
Indiaball after they got their independence from 
British Rajball.
