Winston-Salemball is a cityball in North Carolinaball, USAball. With a population of 251,350, it is the fifth-most populous cityball in North Carolinaball, and the 89th-most populous cityball in the USAball.

History

Early Years

Winston-Salemball was born as a  3ball, before being anschlussed by  British Empireball. After being a colony under the British, Winston-Salemball joined the fledgling USAball.
In 1861, Winston-Salemball joined the Confederacyball, but they soon rejoined the  USAball.

Modern History

In 1920, with a population of 48,395, Winston-Salem was the largest city in  North Carolinaball.

In 1956, Wake Forest College, now known as Wake Forest University, moved to Winston-Salemball from its original location in Wake Forestball, North Carolinaball.

Trivia

Winston-Salemball is called the "Twin City" for its dual heritage, and the "Camel City" as a reference to the city's historic involvement in the tobacco industry related to locally based R. J. Reynolds' Camel cigarettes. Many natives of the city and North Carolinaball refer to the city as "Winston" in informal speech.

Winston-Salemball is known in internet culture as being the hometown of Clint Basinger, better known on YouTube as LGR.
