Novgorodball is an oblastball located in Western 
Russiaball.
History
Novgorod used to be made up of violent Finnic and Baltic and some Slavic people who were influenced by Vikings and fought against each other for control of the land. The united in the 9th century and had peace. They then wrote the Novgorod First Chronicle which had writings that spoke of the history of Novgorod. Novgorod's history is linked to Finlandball's. They often fought the Swedish for control over Finnish land which caused Finlandball to split into two, border-wise and religious-wise. Novgorod was Orthodox Christian and so they taught the Finnish Orthodox Christian things and the Swedish taught their half Catholic stuff. Anyways, they were a republic now, and began trading with the Yugra tribe. Their economy was pretty good and they used Baltic-Volga-Caspian trade route often for trading and to get food in general. One of their cities, Pskov, got de facto independence. Then Tver, The grand Duchy of Lithuania, and Muscovy began to fight over control of Novgorod. Muscovy was the winner and was able to conquer all of Finland after defeating the Swedish.
How to draw
Drawing Novgorodball is almost simple:
- Divide the basic circle shape into three vertical stripes, blue, white and red
- Draw the shield of the coat of arms of Novgorod Oblast in the center
- Draw the eyes and you've finished.
