Yogyakarta Sultanateball is historical countryball of Indonesiaball. Its ex-clay is part of Special Region of Yogyakartaball today.
History
Yogyakarta Sultanateball is great-great grandchild of Majapahitball. It was born in 1755, and its parent is Mataram Sultanateball. Its parent gave it the name "Yogyakarta," adopted from Ayodya (a kingdom in the Ramayana story) and Karta (crowded). Sultanate of Yogyakartaball also had a sibling named Sunanate of Surakartaball. They are hostile siblings. In 1813 its first child, Pakualamanball was born.
Five years after Indonesiaball declare its independence in 1945, the Sultanate of Yogyakartaball joined Indonesiaball. In 1950 it merged with Pakualamanball and gave birth to its second child Yogyakartaball, who become a special region of Indonesiaball.
