Winnipegball Winnie the Pooh stands by pegging at the confluence of the Assiniboine and Red Rivers in a location now known as "The Forks", the rivers were once canoe routes traveled by 
3balls long ago.
Modern Winnipegball is very friendly and vibrant, it loves Canadian football (his team is the Blue Bombers), and just a couple of years ago it got its hockey team, the Jets, back (thank you, 
Atlantaball!). It also took great pride in hosting the Pan American Games in 1999 - in fact, it did it twice (the last time being in 1967, Canada's centennial year)!
Winnipegball is also a huge curling hotbed, and it's very good at the sport. In 2014, it went to 
Sochiball along with Sault Ste. Marieball to cheer on their teams at the Winter Olympics. They were not disappointed as both teams went on to win the gold medal.
