The War of the Pacific was a conflict between Chile, Peru, and Bolivia, over disputes of the Atacama desert, as the area was full over mineral-rich land. The war ended with Chile annexing southern Peru, and Bolivia's coastline, therefore making Bolivia landlocked, and making Bolivia mad.
