Vigoball is a cityball and municipalityball in Galiciaball's southwestern coast. It is the most populated cityball in Galiciaball and it's ranked as Spainball's best city to live in. It's known for it's football team Celta de Vigo, the Cies Islands and its File:Vigo-icon (Christmas).png christmas lights. The European Fisheries Control Agency is headquartered in Vigoball.
There are many theories about its name Vigoball, but it's mostly believed to come from the Latin word "Vicus" meaning Village. Other theories say that Vigo comes from the Viking word «Úig», which means bay.
Vigoball's shield symbolizes an old fountain paying homage to the god Neptune next to the Puerta del Sol in Madridball, a castle finishing on a tower and the Olivetree of Vigoball. Its flag is said to have been used during the Reconquista of Vigo during the Spanish War of independence from the Napoleonic Franceball and before, it was used as the flag of the Maritime Provinceball of Vigo.
During ancient times Vigoball was known as The City of Olives and nowadays is still known as "Olive City".
