In 1413, Joseonball changed the named Uljuball into Ulsanball and became a major city along with Busanball. In 1642, Ulsanball started shipbuilding,
Well, before 1642, during the Japanese invasions of Korea, 
Tokugawaball made a small castle in Ulsanball. Joseon and Ming army couldn't win battles of invading the castle until the end of the war.
Ulsanball became a key industrial site during World War 2 and Korean War. After Hyundai came to Ulsanball, Ulsanball became stronk and became a major cityball of South Koreaball.
