Triancash is one of twenty-four departments of Peruball.
History
Triancash was born as a 3ball, adopted by Incaball, Spanish Empireball (within New Spainball and Viceroyalty of Peruball), Protectorate of Peruball, Peru-Bolivian Confederationball ( North Peruball) and Peruball.
Until 1835, Triancash was part of two different departments: the coastal area, Province of Santaball, corresponded to the Department of Limaball, while the mountainous part to the Intendancy of Tarmaball, although the aforementioned province of Santaball, which then included the current Casmaball and Huarmeyball, briefly formed the so-called Department of the Coastball. In that year, President Felipe Santiago Salaverry decreed the creation of the Department of Huaylasball from the northern provinces of the Department of Junínball, including Cajatamboball, later transferred to the Department of Limaball. Its name was later changed in 1839.
On May 31, 1970, the Ancash earthquake shook almost all of Peruball, burying the city of Yungayball.
