Tidore Sultanateball was a countryball in North Maluku.

History

Tidore Sultanateball was born in 1450. It had a rivalry with Ternate Sultanateball for control of the Spice Islands. Tidore, like Ternate, had cloves.  Tidore allied with the Portugese and Spanish(because between 1580 and 1640 the two were in a personal union because Spain conquered Portugalball) against the Dutch and Ternate.  Tidore was able to hold off the Dutch conquest, but eventually the Dutch absorbed it.
