    Suebi-icon.png Suebiball was a large Germania-icon.png Germanic Tribe-icon.png tribal group. Some of their tribes include Alemanni-icon.png Alemanniball, Angles-icon.png Anglesball, Kingdom of the Lombards-icon.png Lombardsball, Marcomanniball, Quadiball and others.

    History[edit | edit source]

    Suebi-icon.png Suebiball evolved from 2-icon.png 2balls that became Germania-icon.png Germaniaballs.

    They were first mentioned in around 58 BC, when the Suebi-icon.png Suebiballs confronted Roman Republic-icon.png SPQRball, local Gaul-icon.png Gaulballs and other Germania-icon.png Germaniaballs during the Gallic Wars, tough later Roman Republic-icon.png SPQRball defeated them.

    In the 2nd century, Marcomanniball formed a confederation with Quadiball, Vandal Kingdom-icon.png Vandalball and some Sarmatians-icon.png Sarmatianballs against SPQR-icon.png SPQRball, but failed.

    in the early 5th century, Marcomanniball and Quadiball then became part of Hun-icon.png Hunnic Empireball.

    In 406 some of them crossed the Rhine and in 409 they formed Kingdom of the Suebi-icon.png Kingdom of the Suebiball in Iberia.

    In 454, after the battle of Nedao Quadiball became independent, establishing a Suebian Kingdom in the Danube, but in 469 they were defeated by Ostrogothic Kingdom-icon.png Ostrogothic Kingdomball.

    Today, many places are named after them or their tribes, like Duchy of Swabia-icon.png Swabiaball, England-icon.png Englandball and Lombardy-icon.png Lombardyball.
