Suebiball was a large Germanic tribal group. Some of their tribes include Alemanniball, Anglesball, Lombardsball, Marcomanniball, Quadiball and others.

History

Suebiball evolved from 2balls that became Germaniaballs.

They were first mentioned in around 58 BC, when the Suebiballs confronted SPQRball, local Gaulballs and other Germaniaballs during the Gallic Wars, tough later SPQRball defeated them.

In the 2nd century, Marcomanniball formed a confederation with Quadiball, Vandalball and some Sarmatianballs against SPQRball, but failed.

in the early 5th century, Marcomanniball and Quadiball then became part of Hunnic Empireball.

In 406 some of them crossed the Rhine and in 409 they formed Kingdom of the Suebiball in Iberia.

In 454, after the battle of Nedao Quadiball became independent, establishing a Suebian Kingdom in the Danube, but in 469 they were defeated by Ostrogothic Kingdomball.

Today, many places are named after them or their tribes, like Swabiaball, Englandball and Lombardyball.

Their language was Elbe Germanic, which is the ancestor of modern German (exept Low German, which descends from Saxonball's language).
