Sombrerospiral, also known as M104spiral or NGC 4594spiral, is a
mexican hat spiral galaxy in the Virgo Cluster. It has a big dust ring around its edge.
History[edit]
Sombrerospiral was discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1781. William Herschel, the person who discovered
Uranusball, discovered
Sombrerospiral in 1784. In 1921, it was found that Charles Messier had written about
Sombrerospiral, who was linked up with NGC 4594spiral and added to the Messier Catalogue as M104spiral.
