People's Republic of Mozambiqueball was a socialist African state.

History

Being born as a 8ball, adopted by Portuguese Empireball, Mozambiqueball started to become a separatist in the 1960s when the Mozambican War of Independence was started by a anti-colonial organization called FRELIMO. Mozambiqueball's indigenous population had always lived in poor conditions while the Portuguese minorities had better salary. Tanzaniaball helped FRELIMOball launched attacks into Mozambican clay from Dar es Salaamball (city). Portugalball's brutal operations against FRELIMO massacred many civilians fonded anymore support for the resistance.

Even after the coup in Lisbonball, Portugalball still didn't want to give independence to Mozambiqueball. This led to more fighting until Portugalball gave into Mozambiqueball's demands this time. By June 25 1975, Mozambiqueball was granted freedom. It passed through a socialist phase when it became independent. It enjoyed friendly relations with Soviet Unionball, PR Angolaball, and other communist countryballs in Africa who shared the same ideology. It was during this time where it fell in love with the legendary rifle, the AK-47. Samora Machel became the first president, and land reform came and illiteracy rates quickly decreased. Tribalism became non-existant. Mozambiqueball's progress would been challenged by many.

With the killing of those opposing the communist ideology, RENAMO got power very quick as a force against Communism and it operated in Rhodesiaball. South Africaball and Malawiball also helped RENAMOball against Mozambiqueball. ZANUball quickly allied itself to Mozambiqueball and the two became close friends and allies, and when Rhodesiaball died painfully South Africaball saved RENAMOball from being killed by Zimbabweball.

On 1984, it's president got killed in a airplane crash near the border with South Africaball. It was unknown who did it and investigations are still looking for the culprits until this day. Mozambiqueball's second president started to push reforms and ditch more to a more humane socialism.

By the 1990s, as countryballs around the globe were changing from communist to non-communist, Mozambiqueball was doing the same as it converted to a more democratic, multi-party country.
