In 1515, when the 
Kingdom of Tlemcenball was in war with the Spanish Empireball, try to find the Ottoman's help. The Ottoman Empireball took Tlemcen] and founding the 
Regency of Algiers which was in Northern Algeria.
In the 1800s, raids and looting from its coast (and its own slave trade) started to become a conflict. This resulted in many wars with the 
Europeanballs, like 
Franceball who colonized it.
