    Nur-Sultanbrick, formerly Astanabrick, is the capital and second-largest cityball of Kazakhstan-icon.png Kazakhbrick. It is located on the banks of the Ishim River, along with Akmolabrick, the river is in the northern-central part of Kazakhstan-icon.png Kazakhbrick. The city’s name acquired its present name on 23 March 2019, so that means it was named after Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Kazakhstan he was president from 1990 to 2019. It is a planned cityball, just like Australian Capital Territory-icon.png CanberraballWashingtonDC-icon.png Washington DCball, Putrajayaball and Distrito Federal (Brasil)-icon.pngBrasiliaball, it also has following the process of those cities.

    Nur-Sultanbrick has some of the best examples of modern architecture in Central Asia, but it is a modern city in Central Asia as well due it it’s grown and developed economically into one of the most modern cities since it became the capital in 1997. 

    History

    Nur-Sultanbrick was born as a 2-icon.png 2ball, adopted by Mongol Empire-icon.png Mongol Empireball, Khanate of Kazakh-icon.png Kazakh Khanatebrick, Russia-icon.png Russian Empireball, Soviet-icon.png Sovietball, and Kazakhstan-icon.png Kazakhbrick.

    It was renamed to Nur-Sultanbrick in 2019.
