Northern Qiball was a Dynastic Chinaball during the Northern and Southern Dynasties period.
History
Northern Qi was born out of Eastern Weiball, very quickly it became the strongest out of three dynasties of that time - Northern Zhouball, Northern Qi and Chenball, however it was plagued by violence and/or incompetent emperors, corrupt officials, and deteriorating armies.
In 577, Northern Qiball was assaulted by Northern Zhouball, a northwestern country with poorer resources. Northern Qiball with ineffective leadership, quickly disintegrated within a month, with large scale defections of court and military personnel. Houzhu and the last emperor Youzhu were both captured and died in late 577. Gao Shaoyi, Emperor Wenxuan's son and the Prince of Fanyang, sought refuge with Tujue and later declared himself the emperor of Northern Qiball while in exile. However, Tujue handed him over to Northern Zhouball in 580, anschlussing Northern Qi into Northern Zhouball.
