    Malpica de Bergantiñosball is a municipalityball and townball in Galiciaball, Spainball in the Comarcaball of Bergantiños. It's located in northwestern Galiciaball in the Coast of Death. It can into beach with the warmest water in Galiciaball.

    Until 1916 it was called "Malpicaball" alone but it was later changed to Malpica de Bergantiñosball to avoid confusion with the other Spanish municipalityballs of Malpicaball (Toledo) and Malpica de Arbaball.

    On its coast, there are some small islands called the Sisargas which are home to seabirds and seagulls. There's also a small automatic beacon.

    In the symbology of its official flag, the Towers of Mens and a Pot referencing its town Buñoball known for its pottery are represented.

    History

    In the 13th century, Malpica de Bergantiñosball was first cited in a document as a place belonging to the lordship of the archbishop of Santiago de Compostelaball. Later in the 15th century, Sancho Sánchez de Ulloa, the count of Monterreiball incorporated it into his dominions. During the 17th century, its economy was mainly based on fishing whales in collaboration with Basque and Cantabrian sailors. After the fall of its economy of fishing whales, its port was used for inshore fishing.

    On October 20, 1933, and under the direction of Rafael Dieste, the first performance of the puppet theater of the Pedagogical Missions of the Second Spanish Republicball took place in Malpica de Bergantiñosball. The so-called "Retable of puppets" represented the story entitled The dragon and his dove.
