Kishball was an ancient cityball in Sumerball. One of the largest Mesopotamian cities, it was located very close to present-day Baghdadball.
History
It was also one of the earliest inhabited cities ever. Around 2500 BC, during the First Dynasty of Kishball, it became a very important state controlling a significant amount of Sumerball. After Sargon the Great conquered it became part of Akkadian Empireball and spoke Akkadian.
After that, Kishball had a similar fate to Nippurball. But unlike Nippurball, the last incarnation of Kishball prospered during the rule of Sassanidball and later Caliphateball. After this period, it was Islamized. The cityball was finally abandoned around 1000 AD.
