Kingdom of Croatiaball was a stateball within the Habsburg Empireball formed in 1527, after the King Louis II of Kingdom of Hungaryball died to Ottomanball's forces. The Habsburgs were seen as the best option amongst the nobles.

From 1102 when Kingdom of Croatiaball elected the Hungarian king to the throne, up to 1526, Kingdom of Croatiaball used to be in a personal union with Kingdom of Hungaryball.

After having barely any clay left from Ottoman Empireball's numerous conquests for Viennaball, it continued to live and fight within Habsburgball, which later helped it regain lost territories.

    History

    Background (1493-1526)

During Ottoman Empireball's existence, Kingdom of Croatiaball had been one of its fiercest rivals. When its siblings Serbian Empireball and Kingdom of Bosniaball fell to Ottomanball, Croatiaball was next.

The Hundred Years' Croatian–Ottoman War started in 1493 when Ottoman Empireball won their first major conflict, the Battle of Krbava Field. This battle weakened and eventually dissoluted Slavoniaball from Croatia Proper, while most of foreign ruled Venetian Dalmatia had already fallen during 1460s. Some peace treaties were made, but their Ottoman signatories died and a new sultan had them annulled in 1512.

In 1522, after two failed attempts in 1513 and 1514, Ottomanball besieged the Croatian capital city Kninball. The Holy Roman Emperor and Habsburg monarch Ferdinand I provided limited troops to Croatiaball and Hungaryball. He ended being elected to rule over their territories in 1526 because Suleiman the Magnificent's forces killed King Louis II in the Battle of Mohács.

By the end of 1540, Kebabs had reduced Checkered clay to the smallest remainder it ever had, roughly 16,800 km2 unlike the other kebab remover. The furthest Ottomans came was in Siege of Vienna of 1529 where they went as far as digging tunnels and attacking from underground. They managed to fail and were bitter about it for some centuries come by. In 1532, at the height of tensions, Suleiman sent 120,000 troops to try take Viennaball yet again, but some 800 Croats managed to delay and make them retreat after 25 days.

Throughout 1560s, when everything seemed fine and dandy in the holy alliance, Kingdom of Polandball decided it's a good time to go murder the new Emperor, and kebabs took advantage of it. 72-yo Suleiman made his sixth raid on Hungaryball with 100,000 troops, which were decimated by mere 2,300-3000 on the side of Ban Nikola Šubić Zrinski, holding out for a month and wiping out one third of them. This is when Holy Roman Empireball wanted some peace and started paying 30,000 ducats a year for some 25 years of no-no touching  Viennaball. Ottomans tried to take Viennaball a couple of more times nevertheless.

Kingdom of Croatiaball and Kingdom of Slavoniaball eventually united into Kingdom of Croatia-Slavoniaball. He also wanted to unite with the old clay of Kingdom of Dalmatiaball but Austriaball liked the sea and the beaches, so Croatiaball filed for a divorce.
