Chaiyaphumball is a provinceball of 
Thailandball. It lies in Central North Eastern Thailandball. The word 'chaiyaphum' means 'land of victory', which comes from the Sanskrit words jaya (becomes Chaiya in Thai), which means 'victory', and bhumi (becomes Phum in Thai), which means 'land' or 'earth'.
The province's slogan is 'Enchanted city, home to heroes, mountain peaks, elephant forests, waterfalls, beautiful silk, lovely ladies, conscientious Buddhists', and the motto is 'Chaiyaphum, Brave city and Phaya Lae'. The seal of the province contains a triangular flag, which represents victory in a war. Surprisingly, the ethnic population is mainly 
Lao, with the province located in Isan (North Eastern Thailandball), which is close to Laosball in culture.
