    The Anglo-Zanzibar War was the shortest war in the entire history that had only last 38 minutes. It saw the defeat of Zanzibar.





    Major Battles[edit | edit source]

    • Bombardment of the Royal Palace (1896)- 5 British ships fired a simultaneous volley upon the Royal Palace to take out the 1 shore battery the Zanzibarans had. Zanzibar responded by sending out its navy of 1 Frigate and 2 gunboats. Within 30 minutes, All three ships were sunk, with the British taking little to no losses, having only one sailor injured.
