    2020-2021 Western Saharan clashes

    The 2020-2021 Western Saharan clashes is a small conflict occurring in Western Sahara-icon.png Western Saharaball.

    History[edit | edit source]

    Tensions rose between Western Sahara-icon.png Western Saharaball and Morocco-icon.png Moroccoball as the SADR reported that Morocco-icon.png Moroccoball attacked Sharawi's controlled villages, and small clashes and battles occurred on November 13. Western Sahara-icon.png The SADR officially declared war against Morocco-icon.png Moroccoball on November 14.

    Continuous fighting is occurring along the Morocco Western Sahara Wall, which is the border between the two countryballs. Constant fighting and bombardment continues to occur.

    The first casualties were reported on February 9, 2021.

    International Reactions[edit | edit source]

    Many African-Arab and Middle Eastern countryballs are supporting Morocco-icon.png Moroccoball, with some notable ones being Saudi Arabia-icon.png Saudi Arabiaball, Somalia-icon.png Somaliaball, UAE-icon.png UAEball, and USA-icon.png USAball. Guyana-icon.png Guyanaball has also withdrew their recognition of Western Sahara-icon.png Western Saharaball.

    Algeria-icon.png Algeriaball, South Africa-icon.png South Africaball, and Venezuela-icon.png Venezuelaball are still supporting the Western Sahara-icon.png Sahrawis though.

    Some countries are not taking sides however, like Palestine-icon.png Palestineball, Mauritania-icon.png Mauritaniaball, Russia-icon.png Russiaball, and Spain-icon.png Spainball
